Real-time Location:
Just login from any web-enabled device and see the real-time location of your entire fleet, groups of vehicles, or a single unit. By clicking on any balloon (i.e., unit), you will instantly see the location, address (if applicable), direction, mph, and date/time stamp.

Vehicle Directions:
Obviously, the GPS device knows the exact location of the vehicle, which makes it easy to get directions from the vehicle, to another vehicle, landmark, or address (manually enter). Of course, the start location, can also be a landmark, or a manually entered address.

Click "Get Directions" and turn-by-turn direction show up on the left side of the screen. Cut-and-paste the directions in to the SMS module to send as a text message, or the MDT (mobile data terminal) module to send to the in-car screen.



Nearest Vehicle:
Similar to vehicle directions, using drop-down menus, you can quickly determine the units closest to an address, landmark, or unit. With the click of a button, you have the exact distance to the target. Another click gives you turn-by-turn directions. Again, cut-and-paster for ultimate efficiency.

SMS Messaging:
As mentioned, you can send data, messages, directions, notes, etc via integrated the SMS Text Messaging module. This is an infinitely valuable tool for Dispatchers. Use the GPS MDT as an alternative.

Landmarks (w/ Text or Email Alerts):
Set automatic text or email alerts to be sent as a driver approaches a customer's location. The alert can be sent to just one person within your organization, or 10 people. It's all included. You can even set up the customer to receive an alert on his/her cell phone so that they can prepare for the driver. The less time the driver waits, the sooner they can get on to the next job!

Geofences (w/ Text or Email Alerts):
User can set up a Geofences around a home, restaurant, bar, city, or state to automatically be notified via text or email when a unit crosses that virtual perimeter. The Dispatcher may use this tool to be automatically notified when a unit enters or leaves an area. (The Landmark feature, by comparison, only notifies the recipient(s) as a vehicle approaches a destination. This tool may most often be used to be alerter when a driver arrives at a customer's location). An owner may use this tool to monitor off-hours use and movement, as well as on-the-clock driving habits, or stops (e.g., girlfriend's house, bar, personal errands, etc).

Most of these tools can be set to run on an automated schedule, or event-triggered format, making the Dispatcher's job much more manageable. In some cases, you may be able to reduce payroll expense through a more efficient department. Or, as an alternative, you may use this new-found efficiency to increase productivity and revenue.
